Campaign Launch & Meet the Candidate – Davenport

You’re invited to attend the official One Nation campaign launch for the electorate of Davenport, supporting Jonathan Howell, a local candidate standing for family, practical skills, and building a stronger future for the next generation.

This event is an opportunity to hear directly from Jonathan about why he is standing for Davenport, the issues he believes matter most to families in the southern suburbs, and why South Australia needs leadership that thinks long-term and puts everyday Australians first.

Guests will have the chance to meet Jonathan, hear his story, and engage in open conversation about the pressures facing local families — including the rising cost of living, education pressures, housing and financial security, and the importance of supporting industry and local jobs.

All locals, supporters, and interested community members are warmly encouraged to attend.

Meet the Candidate

Jonathan Howell – Davenport

Jonathan Howell is standing for Davenport with a strong commitment to family, practical problem-solving, and ensuring the next generation inherits a stronger South Australia.

Jonathan is a single father raising three teenagers and has lived in the Davenport electorate for more than a decade. He understands first-hand the challenges families face balancing rising living costs, education pressures, and long-term financial security.

Originally from overseas, Jonathan proudly became an Australian citizen four and a half years ago and has a deep appreciation for the opportunities this country provides. He has a background in mechanical engineering and business management and has worked across a wide range of engineering and industrial sectors, including manufacturing, mining, and oil and gas.

A hands-on problem solver, Jonathan enjoys DIY projects, restoring and repairing vehicles, and spending time outdoors with his children.

Jonathan is standing with One Nation because he believes South Australia needs leaders who represent everyday Australians, support local industry, protect shared values, and plan for the long term.
